ENTECH 2026 roadshow returns with new demo zones and Tech Train attractions
Australia’s longest-running AV trade roadshow, ENTECH, is back for 2026 with new attractions, expanded hands-on experiences, and a national tour visiting five major cities.
The ENTECH Roadshow officially kicks off in Sydney on May 19 before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth, bringing together professionals from across the audiovisual, entertainment technology, and systems integration industries.
A major addition for 2026 is the new Tech Train experience. ENTECH has also added Audio Demo Zone and Tech Demo Zone activations for live product demonstrations.

ENTECH 2026 roadshow dates and locations
The 2026 Australian ENTECH Roadshow schedule includes:
- Sydney – Tuesday 19 May
- Brisbane – Thursday 21 May
- Melbourne – Tuesday 26 May
- Adelaide – Thursday 28 May
- Perth – Tuesday 2 June
After the Australian tour concludes, ENTECH will continue into New Zealand with events in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch during July and August.
New Tech Train experience debuts at ENTECH 2026
One of the biggest attractions at ENTECH 2026 is the introduction of the Tech Train, a guided exhibitor floor walk hosted by Keils.
Running three times daily from the NW Group ENTECH Theatre at 12 pm, 1:30 pm, and 3 pm, the Tech Train is designed to help attendees quickly discover the latest AV, lighting, staging, and vision technologies on display.
ENTECH CEO Kate McKenzie said the new feature gives visitors a fast and efficient way to stay across industry innovation.
“The Tech Train is the fastest way to get across what’s new without missing a thing,” McKenzie said.

Audio Demo Zone and Tech Demo Zone added
ENTECH 2026 also introduces two interactive demonstration areas:
Audio Demo Zone
Live audio demonstrations from major manufacturers will begin at 11:30 am inside the Audio Demo Zone.
Tech Demo Zone
From 12:30 pm, the Tech Demo Zone will showcase new AV and entertainment technologies through 15-minute sessions.
In addition, both demo areas give attendees hands-on exposure to new systems and practical AV solutions.
Industry compliance and induction challenges in focus
The keynote sessions inside the NW Group Theatre will address major industry concerns, including electrical compliance regulations, Test and Tag requirements, and emerging electrical Certificate of Compliance (eCoC) risks.
McKenzie described the current regulatory landscape as fragmented and challenging for the industry.
Electrical compliance concerns
Sessions will examine differences in state-by-state compliance rules and the impact these regulations are having on AV and entertainment technology professionals.
Venue induction standardisation
Following the keynote sessions, Susan Twartz will present practical examples aimed at creating a more unified approach to venue induction processes across the industry.
ENTECH 2026 roadshow focuses on networking and efficiency
Meanwhile, ENTECH continues to position itself as a compact one-day trade event for integrators, AV designers, installers, and end-users.
Across the exhibition floor, attendees will find around 60 stands covering audio, lighting, staging, and vision technology.
According to McKenzie, the streamlined format encourages exhibitors to focus on showcasing their most important new technologies while creating more meaningful conversations on the trade floor.
“With 30% of attendees carrying annual budgets of $100K or more, it’s a quality crowd,” McKenzie said.

About ENTECH
ENTECH Roadshow is Australia’s only national trade show dedicated to AV and entertainment technology professionals. The event travels to every major population centre across Australia and New Zealand, giving exhibitors and attendees direct access to new business opportunities and industry connections.
In 2026, the ENTECH Roadshow will visit Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth during May. Following the Australian tour, the event will continue into Auckland and Wellington in July before concluding in Christchurch in August.
Because exhibition space is limited, ENTECH primarily supports national distributors using dedicated freight transport across the tour. Additionally, a limited number of spaces are reserved for video distributors and resellers who secure bookings early.
As confirmed by the ISE exhibition in Barcelona, our industry has now entered a phase we’re calling ‘post-converged’. The worlds of unified communications, IT, AV, lighting, video, audio, signage, staging, and control have gone past the transition period of becoming networked and controlled by software and entered a new phase where new business models, products, and markets are emerging. Manufacturers that were once focused on one aspect of live performance or recording are now creating products for corporate meeting rooms. Companies that were creating platforms for digital signage are now offering room control and corporate communications. Lighting companies that power huge stadium gigs are creating networked architectural products, as are their audio counterparts. And at the centre of all this, the customer, be they installer, production firm, or consultant, is now part IT manager and concerned with the integration of systems as a whole.
