LogicMonitor Appoints Garry Gray as Vice President for Australia and New Zealand
LogicMonitor has appointed Garry Gray as vice president for Australia and New Zealand. He will lead regional growth, strengthen customer relationships and expand the company’s partner ecosystem.
The LogicMonitor Garry Gray appointment comes as the company advances its Autonomous IT strategy. This approach uses artificial intelligence (AI), operational data and automation to help organisations manage increasingly complex IT environments.
Gray brings more than 30 years of technology industry experience, including senior commercial and partner leadership roles at Red Hat. His appointment places him in charge of LogicMonitor’s ANZ go-to-market strategy, regional team development and direct and partner-led business growth.
LogicMonitor Garry Gray Appointment Strengthens ANZ Leadership
Gray will oversee LogicMonitor’s operations across Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on enterprise and commercial customers. His responsibilities include developing customer relationships, strengthening partnerships and aligning direct sales with partner-led strategies.
Most recently, Gray led cloud and co-creation across Asia Pacific for Red Hat. His work covered cloud growth, partnerships and new routes to market. Previously, he led Red Hat’s ANZ ecosystem strategy, focusing on partner relationships and business development.
His broader career spans enterprise sales, cloud computing, managed services and commercial leadership. Across these roles, he has developed teams, established new routes to market and worked to align sales and partner strategies.
LogicMonitor Focuses on Regional Growth and Partnerships
Dave Patnaik, Vice President, APAC, LogicMonitor, highlighted Gray’s commercial experience and understanding of enterprise technology partnerships.
”Garry brings a strong combination of enterprise and commercial leadership, direct and indirect go-to-market experience and deep knowledge of cloud and partner ecosystems,” said Dave Patnaik, Vice President, APAC, LogicMonitor. “Sustainable growth rarely comes from a single route to market. It takes strong direct execution, the right ecosystem, deep customer relationships, and teams aligned around shared outcomes. Garry understands how to bring those elements together. He has a strong focus on developing talent and driving high performance, with a leadership style grounded in trust, accountability and customer outcomes.
“I’m excited to have Garry join LogicMonitor and look forward to seeing what he and the ANZ team achieve together.”
The appointment reflects LogicMonitor’s focus on coordinating its direct sales and partner operations across ANZ. Gray will also be responsible for developing the regional team and supporting customer engagement.
Autonomous IT and Edwin AI Support LogicMonitor’s Strategy
LogicMonitor is developing its Autonomous IT strategy to help enterprises move beyond reactive IT operations. The company aims to support AI-led workflows that help IT teams understand operational issues and take action.
At the centre of this strategy is Edwin AI, which LogicMonitor describes as its AI operating layer. The technology serves as the main interface for IT operations and AI-led workflows. It draws on telemetry, operational context, automation and governance capabilities within the LogicMonitor platform.
Telemetry refers to the operational data collected from IT systems, applications and infrastructure. This information helps teams understand system behaviour, identify problems and determine where action may be needed.
According to LogicMonitor, combining these capabilities can help enterprises manage complex digital environments more efficiently. The company’s approach focuses on improving operational visibility and supporting more intelligent IT workflows.
For ANZ businesses, the technology strategy centres on managing infrastructure, cloud services and digital operations through a more integrated approach. Gray’s role will focus on developing the customer and partner relationships supporting that strategy.
Garry Gray Outlines Priorities for Australia and New Zealand
Gray said his immediate priorities include understanding customer requirements, strengthening partner relationships and supporting the regional team.
“LogicMonitor has a significant opportunity in ANZ as organisations look for better ways to manage increasingly demanding IT environments and move towards more intelligent operations,” said Garry Gray, Vice President, Australia and New Zealand, LogicMonitor. “Sustainable growth comes from understanding what customers need, building strong partner relationships and giving teams the clarity and support to execute. I’m looking forward to working with the ANZ team, our partners and our customers to build on LogicMonitor’s momentum and grow the business across the region.”
His appointment comes as LogicMonitor continues investing in its ANZ operations, customer relationships and partner ecosystem.
The company’s regional strategy combines commercial expansion with its broader focus on AI-supported IT operations. Gray will lead those efforts across Australia and New Zealand, bringing together customer engagement, partnerships and team development.
